This transmittal announces a 3% increase to nursing service rates for Maryland Medical Assistance Program providers (Model Waiver and EPSDT nursing services) effective July 1, 2024, and provides an updated fee schedule for billing.
Effective July 1, 2024, rates for nursing services under COMAR 10.09.53, 10.09.27, and 10.09.69 are increased by 3 percent based on FY 2025 budget allocations.
A revised fee schedule with specific procedure codes and per-visit or per-15-minute unit payment rates is attached and effective July 1, 2024.

Billing Effective Date and Provider Guidance
Billing effective date — bill new rates for services on/after July 1, 2024
Providers may bill the new rates for nursing services for dates of service on or after July 1, 2024.
- Effective July 1, 2024, rates for nursing services are increased by 3% and a revised fee schedule is attached.
