Insurer Payment Requirement
Assessment payment requirement
Each insurer subject to R.S. 22:1071 must have the assessment amount calculated by applying the corrected .000197 percentage to premiums reported on the form filed under R.S. 22:1071(D)(2)(b), and must pay that amount to the commissioner no later than August 7, 2026.
- Apply the corrected assessment rate of .000197 to premiums reported on the form filed under R.S. 22:1071(D)(2)(b).
- Submit payment of the amount computed using the corrected rate to the commissioner by August 7, 2026.
