Insurer Requirements and Actions
Deliver prescribed no-fault rejection form at initial issuance and driver additions (not at renewals)
Deliver the prescribed no-fault rejection form to the insured at the initial issuance of a new automobile policy and when adding any drivers to a policy; do not deliver the prescribed form at subsequent renewals of the same policy.
- Applies to all insurers authorized to transact auto insurance in Kentucky under a property and casualty line of authority.
- Insurers must notify their agents and employees of this Department interpretation.
