Deviated case rates for credit life insurance set at $0.70 per $1,000 in force per month for single life and 160% of that rate ($1.12) for joint life for the period Jan 1, 2026 through Dec 31, 2028.
Deviated case single premium rates for credit accident and health insurance set at $0.70 per $100 of initial indebtedness per annum for each of the first four years, $0.50 per annum for each of the next three years, and $0.25 per annum thereafter for the period Jan 1, 2026 through Dec 31, 2028.
Deviated Case Rate Coverage Criteria
Credit Life Insurance Rates
Rate specifications that insurers must apply for applicable policies issued or renewed in the stated period:

- Joint life rate: 160% of single life (i.e., $1.12 per $1,000 in force per month)
Rates prescribed by the Commissioner pursuant to M.G.L. c. 175, s. 117C(b)(4)(iii) for the motor vehicle dealer class of business
Credit Accident and Health Insurance Rates
Credit accident and health premium schedule by year of term:

- Credit Accident and Health single premium rates (expressed per $100 of initial indebtedness per annum)
ALL of the following
- Years 1–4: $0.70 per $100 per year
- Years 5–7: $0.50 per $100 per year
- Years 8 and thereafter: $0.25 per $100 per year
