OpenPayer is powered by Trek Health's payer performance platform. Trek continuously ingests, validates, and normalizes Transparency in Coverage data alongside payer policies and other commercial payer data to create a structured payer intelligence foundation. OpenPayer uses this foundation to deliver personalized search results, dynamically generated policy pages, and tailored policy monitoring based on each user's payers, specialties, billing codes, and areas of interest. The same intelligence powers broader payer performance workflows, including reimbursement benchmarking, contract evaluation, payer negotiations, and financial decision-making.

Coverage decisions for Actimmune are made on a case-by-case basis and are subject to member-specific benefits and plan documents. The Pharmacy Medical Necessity Guideline provides the clinical criteria used to evaluate requests, but individual determinations depend on the member’s medical needs and the plan’s benefit provisions.

The guideline is intended to clarify the clinical basis for coverage decisions but does not guarantee payment. Claims adjudication remains subject to member eligibility and benefits on the date of service, coordination of benefits, referral/authorization and utilization management rules, and any applicable claims editing logic. For self‑insured plans, the member’s benefit document governs when it differs from this guideline.
