Provider actions and timelines required to receive interim UPL payments:

- Intergovernmental Transfer payment must be received by noon on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the associated UPL payment not being made.
Payment sent after the deadline will forfeit the interim UPL for that payment period.

- Complete and submit the Notice of Intent To Form through DocuSign before January 17, 2025.
Only an authorized provider representative should complete and submit the DocuSign form.
ALL of the following
- The February 6, 2025 UPL interim payment will be issued by ACH to the bank account listed in the Georgia Medicaid Management Information System (GAMMIS) for the facility.
Allow typically 3–4 days for ACH initiation to result in funds deposited to the provider bank account.

- CMS may later adjust the UPL calculation either positively or negatively; interim payments are subject to such adjustments.

Intergovernmental Transfer deadline and consequence
Submit the Intergovernmental Transfer payment by noon on January 23, 2025. If the Transfer Payment is not received by the deadline, the associated UPL payment will not be made.
