Updates Statewide Medicaid Managed Care requirements for Managed Medical Assistance and MMA Specialty plans participating in the MMA Physician Incentive Program, including Medicare-rate reimbursement, pediatric E/M codes, deleted CPT codes, billing-system implementation, and claim reprocessing.
MMA plans must use the attached Children's Primary Care Codes rates as the Medicare-equivalent rates for MPIP-qualified providers billing specified pediatric E/M codes that are not listed on the Medicare fee schedule.
CPT codes 99241, 99251, 99339, and 99340 were deleted from the MPIP E/M Procedure Codes Medicare rates file.
Managed care plans must program their billing systems to implement the updated MPIP payments and reprocess affected claims paid before the pricing updates.
OpenPayer is powered by Trek Health's payer performance platform. Trek continuously ingests, validates, and normalizes Transparency in Coverage data alongside payer policies and other commercial payer data to create a structured payer intelligence foundation. OpenPayer uses this foundation to deliver personalized search results, dynamically generated policy pages, and tailored policy monitoring based on each user's payers, specialties, billing codes, and areas of interest. The same intelligence powers broader payer performance workflows, including reimbursement benchmarking, contract evaluation, payer negotiations, and financial decision-making.
