Prior authorization is required for all outpatient hospital mental health services under the reinstated Rule 2.6. Providers must obtain prior authorization before delivering outpatient hospital mental health services to Mississippi Medicaid beneficiaries, consistent with the rule restored to its pre-May 1, 2021 status.
