Mandatory and permissive discount rules
All insurers authorized to write property and casualty insurance in Louisiana must provide a premium discount or insurance rate reduction in accordance with the rates published on the Department of Insurance's website for all eligible properties; insurers may offer discounts greater than the published rates.
