Optum will consider incident-to services reimbursable if these specific criteria are met:
ALL of the following
- Service is an integral, although incidental, part of the Supervising Health Care Provider's services (commonly furnished in the office/clinic).
- Service is commonly rendered without charge or included in the Supervising Health Care Provider's bill.
- Service is of a type commonly furnished in the Supervising Health Care Provider's office or clinic.
