Program Context & Scope
The HCBS waiver program permits states to furnish home and community-based services to help Medicaid beneficiaries avoid institutionalization. The PASSE is responsible for credentialing HCBS providers in Arkansas and all HCBS providers must be enrolled in Arkansas Medicaid and credentialed by the PASSE.
