- Member's plan includes the split fill program (program availability may vary by benefit).
- It is the member's first time taking the medication OR there is no claims history for the drug within the prior 120 days.120 days
This policy describes Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico's Split Fill Program, which permits partial (split) fills for certain medications—primarily oral oncology agents and select other drugs—to help reduce member out-of-pocket costs and limit medication waste.
