Minimum criteria for S9480 (psychiatric IOP)
S9480 may be billed when ALL of the following minimum operational and clinical elements are met:
ALL of the following
- Treatment consists of a minimum of 9 hours of service per week
- Minimum of 3 hours per day
- Program conducted on at least 2 days per week
- At least 1 session per week with the member's treating Psychiatric Provider (Behavioral Health Medical Practitioner - BHMP)
